Vladimir Lenin, (1870-1924) born Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov. He was a Chairman of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Soviet Union and became a Russian revolutionary, politician and political theorist. Lenin served as the first and founding head of government of Soviet Russia and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924.
